INFORMATION ABOUT THE WEEK OF 9-26

HELLO ALL:


THANK YOU TO ALL OF THE PARENTS WHO HELPED IN CONCESSIONS AND FOR THE CAR SHOW. A BIG THANK YOU TO MRS. KUHLMAN AND THE BURNES FAMILY FOR THE WORK DONE IN THE CAR SHOW.

PLEASE CHECK THE FACEBOOK PAGE FOR INFORMATION ABOUT THE CRAFT SHOW IN DECEMBER.

FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 30TH, WE WIULL BE TAKING PICTURES OF THE MARCHING BAND. THIS WILL TAKE PLACE DURING OUR SCHEDULED REHEARSAL TIME. I WILL BE SENDING ORDER FORMS HOME ON WEDNESDAY. IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO ORDER PHOTOS, PLEASE FILL OUT THE FORM AND RETURN IT ON FRIDAY WITH CASH OR CHECK (MADE OUT TO PEAK PHOTOGRAPHY).  WE WILL BE TAKING A GROUP PHOTO, SECTION PHOTOS AND INDIVIDUAL (OPTIONAL) PHOTOS.

CAR SHOW PEP BAND

HELLO ALL:

THE BAND WILL BE PLAYING A BRIEF PWP BAND SET TOMORROW AT 11:00AM AT THE INTELITEC CAMPUS IN PUEBLO WEST. THIS SHOULD TAKE ABOUT 20 MINUTES. BAND STUDENTS SHOULD BE AT THE CAR SHOW AT 10 :45 TO GET READY TO PLAY.

CSUP BAND DAY INFORMATION

HELLO ALL:


HERE IS THE SCHEDULE FOR SATURDAY

PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL STUDENTS WILL NEED TO BRING A LUNCH AND $5.00 FOR DINNER (BOOSTERS WILL BE BRINGING PIZZA AND DRINKS)

STUDENTS WILL NEED TO BE IN THEIR BAND SHIRT AND JEANS OR SHORTS. THE GAME WILL BE IN THE EVENING SO A JACKET IS ADVISED.


9TH ANNUAL CSU-PUEBLO BAND DAY: SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 17TH, 2016 ============================================
7:30 a.m. check in at Hoag Hall Lobby located in the Music Building
8:00 a.m. - 9:30 a.m. Sectional Rehearsals
9:30 a.m. - 9:45 a.m. Break/Move to Hoag Hall
9:45 a.m. - 11:45 a.m. Full Music Rehearsal in Hoag Hall
11:45 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Lunch Break on your own - Ample fast food restaurants near campus
1:00 p.m. - 1:15 p.m.  Brief CSU-Pueblo ThunderWolves Marching Band Exhibition Performance at stadium
1:15 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. Onfield Pre-Game Rehearsal followed by seating in stands
2:30 p.m. - 3:10 p.m. Falcon High School Marching Band Practice Time - observers welcome - Performing to East Stands
3:15 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. Pueblo Centennial High School Marching Band Practice Time - observers welcome - Performing to West Stands
4:00 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. Dinner Break on your own - Ample fast food restaurants near campus
5:30 p.m. Gather near Stadium Gate 3 (Southwest corner ramp entrance to stadium).
              Student musicians and allowed teachers/adults need to enter together as a group.  All others must purchase gate admission.
5:40 p.m. Pre-game Festivities begin / All student Members in position for performance at track level, west stands
6:00 p.m. Kickoff
7:30 p.m. Estimated time for Half-Time performances
9:15 p.m. Estimated Conclusion of game

5:30 DRESS OUT

6:00 MOVE TO THE STADIUM

6:45 PRE GAME

7:00 KICK OFF

9:30 CONCLUSION OF THE GAME

STUDENTS ARE ALLOWED TO LEAVE WHEN THEIR UNIFORM IS PROPERLY HUNG UP AND THEIR INSTRUMENT PUT AWAY.

WASHINGTON DC 2017 INFORMATIONAL MEETING

HELLO ALL:

WE WILL BE HAVING AN INFORMATIONAL MEETING ON TUESDAY SEPTEMBER 13TH AT 6:30 IN THE AUDITORIUM. THIS MEETING IS INTENDED TO PROVIDE INFORMATION ON THE PARADE INCLUDING THE COST, SCHEDULE  AND ANSWER QUESTIONS. THOSE PLANNING ON TRAVELING WITH THE BAND ARE REQUIRED TO ATTEND WITH A PARENT. PIG SKIN INFORMATION

HELLO ALL:


HERE IS THE INFORMATION FOR FRIDAYS GAME AT PUEBLO COUNTY HIGH SCHOOL.

4:00-5:15  DINNER (PIZZA) WITH THE PUEBLO COUNTY HIGH SCHOOL BAND
                 (MEET MR.SMITH IN THE FRONT OF THE HIGH SCHOOL)

5:15-6:00  WARM UP NATIONAL ANTHEM REHEARSAL AND PREGAME PLAN

6:30          MOVE TO STADIUM

6:50          PREGAME

STUDENTS WILL NEED TO ARRANGE THEIR OWN TRANSPORTATION TO AND FROM THE GAME. THE GAME SHOULD END AROUND 9:00-9:30ISH.
